Ya, been looking around for a thumbstrap stylus, it'd be really useful for Mario 64 and Rayman.

Otis, I don't think there's a significant speed difference between memory card adapters, just memory card brands. I have a cheapo memory card, crashes on some games (rub rabbits and spiderman), but i only experience slowdowns when there are movies (eg. in Castlevania).

oenone, let us know once you get your ds.

    I'm guessing 8000 ? that's just a wild guess.

I've been looking for a decent app for the DS that allows me to take my PDF's to my DS, With the PSP I just converted the PDF's (or any document) into JPEG's and used the imageviewer to access them. Finally someone released something like this for the DS :

    Comic Book DS / PictoDS : http://gnese.free.fr/NDS/ComicBookDS/?language=en

You can use comic book files (cbr's etc.) or a folder full of images, it converts all the images and places them onto a NDS file. You can then load the NDS file onto your adapter and use the touchscreen to pan / scroll through the images, works awesome.

Derkie, I don't really know how good the DS Xtreme is but so far its been getting positive feedback from people who tried it out (http://www.maxconsole.net/?mode=news&newsid=10212). Not having to get a separate Passme device for it is reason enough to get it, and the faster transfer speed is also a big plus. However I don't know how it fares on homebrew software (might not be sucha big issue for some) and you're limited to just 512MB. Also I don't think it'll be cheaper her bai, and it probably won't be available here anytime soon either (I was actually surprised to find memory adapters / passkey devices for the DS).

I'm assuming its 8k since the DS Lite can be bought for around 9000. So don't take my word for it. Yep, there's still a slot for GBA games, although due to the smaller design, the cartridge portrudes a bit.

..ok,, 512mb is the draw back- others can go up to what miniSD available mem. Ready na unta ko mo gasto ug £75 for this- pakapin ra man gud ning ds lite nga black pag buy nako ug new set of wheels dire sa among local garage . anyway, matsalams pre- i'll be asking more questions to you later-- if that's ok/

DS Lite has white, turquoise blue, navy blue, black (which looks awesome btw), and manly pink. Expect limited edition Pokemon / Zelda / etc versions when games for those franchises are released.

    Derkie, sure thing man, np.
