Sigma 70-200mm vs Tamron 70-200mm F2.8

thanks bro yeah thats why i was confused if 18-250 is capable of doing 70-200 i was wondering why the size of 70-200 is bigger and more expensive than 18-250wen 18-250 i has greater focal length or distance correct me if im wrong.

ok i finally got it haha thank you. so i guess my lens is not that good for telephoto purposes and fast moving subjects. but im quite satisfied with its results using it as still life photography and landscape. im still learning thank you for the detailed explanation it helped alot.

il take this one. mods, pasensya sa OT ha. ive tried it with the D90. AF is good, ive used it taking soccer/futbol pics. one thing you will surely feel with the 80-200 though is that "kick" when it locks for subject focus. lahi ra sa SWM ( Silent Wave Motor ) sa new nikkors nga hilom and smooth kaau. sa 80-200, ul feel nga nag liso2x jud inig focus. it doesnt bother me though.

IQ? a bit soft at f2.8, sharpest at f5.6

wide - 10-24mm ( most popular for DX=12-24, for FX 14-24)
mid range - 24-70mm ( most popular for DX = 17-55, 18-55, 18-105, for FX 24-70)
telephoto - 70-200mm & further ( most popular = 70-200 VR1/VRII)

since your lens falls within those range, its called a walk-around lens, covered nya tanan.

conisdered wide angle coz it starts at 18mm.
