hi guyz, i'm planning to buy this HD media player and paired it with a Samsung LA-32B450 LCD TV. i need some cons and pros about this gadget

depende sa imung TV. Ingon sa mga computer salesman na palit ka external HDD then i plug sa Media player for you to be able to play it sa TV pero sa akong deretso naman sa TV ang HDD.

You might want to try na i direct sa TV ang HDD. BTW, i used the WD Passport Essential 500GB 3.0 USB sa akong TV, and it works perfect. No need for a media player..

try the Asus HD media player kalimot ko sa model pero recently I've seen lots of PC shops selling those Asus.

you mean the Asus O!Play (HDP-R1) bro? di man kaayo ko ganahan sa iya features bro then wala sad siya component out, medyo mas nindot sad ang interface sa WD TV Live.
