yes i can agree with you at some points bro. The DENR does lack holding facilities for sequestered animals but that is highly due to budget problems. Do you know that there are only 2 DENR personnel that is in charge for monitoring the influx of animals here in Cebu? That is a lot of job for only two persons who are on a meager budget and salary. Lets not put the blame so much on DENR but more on the priority of our existing government. If environmental concerns were on the top priority then this could have been prevented. More so, the keeping of sea turtle at hand is a necessity as it is an evidence for the pursuance of suit cases against perpetrators or poachers.....as to why they are kept soooooo long and not being released back to the wild......ask your Justice system as to why an endangered life be made to wait for an arrainment.
