finally got my package.. bought 3rd party battery grip with decoded batteries.. and also an auto focus macro ring and macro ring flash..

will give a feedback on the grip not later than tomorrow

okay.. i finally taken my package out of the box... and i have to say it was more than i've expected. the feel and even the material's quite at par with the camera body itself.. pareho ragyd kaayo ug nawong ug feel sa original canon battery grip.. same function buttons and even the tampo prints..






before i decided on getting this, i tried testing the orginal one and compare it with this third party grip.. the only thing na tima-ilhan that's it's not the original is naay name sa brand sa ubos (as far as i remember the orig battery grip unlike the usual ones for other models don't have a canon insignia/plate sa grip.. then i attached it to my camera to check it's fitting/gaps.. and so far snug fit gyd kaayo siya.. no gaps whatsoever..












the package also comes with 2 decoded batteries.. here's a comparison with the original one:





straight out of their boxes, the batteries already held roughly about 65% of power.. gi try nako ug on continuously shifting to video/still mode for straight 45minutes then ako gi disable ang power saver sa body.. afterwhich i tried checking how much was used sa battery and so far aroungly 5% lang ang nakuha.. oh.. that means diay na confirmed na mo basa ang camera sa status on both decoded batteries.. eitheir sa viewfinder or sa lcd panel sa upper right:






i'm not sure if the original has this extra magazine for other power source option like using regular AA batteries.. this third third party grip has one.

nindot sad da...naa koy gi order bago lang tag $46 ang grip alone.

just got my battery grip today...ok ra akong impression, pero dili parehas sa akong orig na BG-E2N nga solid ug lawas.
