I would recommend cguro na instead na going into calculation just go with what their business are, it's less complicated and same effectivity. In every calculation mn gd, you need to establish a point of reference to compare your value. How is X vs Y...without it, it's just a floating number.

    E.G.

The PE ratio will be 1.2 and you say, kani kay nindut ni ubos... but in order for you to say na undervalue you need to compare it to something and the best one is to VS the average industry standard. What if ang average sa iyang industry is 0.5, so would you say that it is stil under valued?

What I'm trying to say is that those values are not meant as a stand alone basis. Go with the less complicated way of investing.

    Regards

hehehe...murag daghan2 ni...unsay may unahon? why not start with a specific topic to be discussed then move on. start from basic then to advance level so that newbie like me can benefit...hehehe...if we just let people throw some random questions then most likely that will only serve the person who raised the question....no offense here.

None taken bro, I get your idea on the topic at hand.
Actually as I stated previously on my last posts, this topic was for the guys who knew they were "value investors".

To strike the nail on the head, I would say the topic is very much inclined to those investors, who have read or is currently reading

" Security Analysis by Benjamin Graham and The Intelligent Investor by Graham" also.

Mas maayo man gud if nakabasa na sila para, at least naa na sila general idea about value investing by Graham or Buffett.

Sorry bro for not getting right on the intention of this thread. Now it's more clearer that it's not for the general public who are yet to indulge in value investing but rather to those who are already into value investing....so basic knowledge is a must. I will support this thread hoping to gain knowledge from other value investors. Happy investing!
