but for now, since GFC (global financial crisis) is taking its toll on each and everyones life (like me trying to find money for personal urgent purposes) i'd rather find a TEMPORARY job for me to earn and save money.
Ako bai wala gyud koi business degree but I want to start a business pud. However, I don't know where to start. Ideally, it your passion that should be an inspiration to start a biz.

However, just to clarify, I believe Asia is not so affected by the global crisis (due to the conservative lending habits of our banks here. kabalo na baya ka ang pinoy kusog kaayo mang abuso ug utang. *ahem*).

Ang una bitaw nigawas sa akong huna huna is the Philippines should start exploiting the flaws of other countries.

Example lang daan, when the tsunami hit Japan, I said to myself, why not seize this opportunity for the Philippines to take in the backlog from the damaged Japan? Obviously, daghan services affected when they were hit. How hard could it be to start calling investors and say, "Hey, we can fill in for japan"? Estimates show that japan won't be able to recover until 2014. One nation's loss is obviously another nation's gain.

(i know, i'm a backstabbing, SOB. but business is business and my pinoys come first. LOL)

Sharo naman pud, kaduha na na tiklo ang japan ug ing-ani (first was the a-bomb) and in that span of time nalupigan gihapon ta nila. Karon nalumsan sila and don't tell me mabyaan gihapon ta by 2013? kadako kahang sagpa ug insulto ana nato if naa pa ta headstart pero left in the dust gihapon!

Partly makatabang ang government, but it boils down to us, we have our own share of the work man sad. pero i cannot blame others to think negatively about our government kay kadaghan na gyud na instances throughout our history na wala gyud ni hatag ug 200% ang government, given that we should also give 200% na counterpart as our effort. And the "what the hell are they doing with our taxes" comment. mao ra na ako makasulti

    yep! exactly!

mao man sad jud na ang nakapait sa pinoy gud. there are so many opportunities laid for us para mas maimprove ang economical state sa country. not just cebu city, itself.

sometimes, we tend to focus into one area kay mao ang uso, mao ang nindut, nya mao ang indemand.

Well, if only Cebu is given more autonomy. We have really inefficient leaders back there in "IMPERIAL MANILA".

The fact that "Manila is the Philippines" is such a disgrace for us. It's like neglecting the rest of the country for the sake of Manila. That is why we lag behind economically. LGU's have limited power and resources to develop their own localities. Kay kung wala palang na ang IRA and the LGU's are given 90% control of the profits they get from companies, they can build the bridges, improve the traffic system and beautify their cities in their own locality. Di na kinahanglan i-propose pajud sa Congress sa Manila. Kung wala ni'ng centralized government, daghan kaayo'g infrastructure projects ang Pilipinas, not just a handful of ids at PNoy's PPP. From Batananes to Sulu, growth will sprout everywhere, the economy will diversify, every province will develop their own niche in a certain industry and then collectively, the Philippines will have a big, booming, well diversified and well-balanced economy.

We need a major over-haul of that obsolete 1987 Constitution, Federalize the system and give the power to the LGU's.

    Empty nest syndrome...

maybe because most cultures don't have the close family ties that we uniquely have as Filipinos...

^^ Empty nest syndrome, diba mao mana ang sakit sa mga tigulang na di ganahan mingaw ila balay?

I actually wanted to use that term but I just thought it would be a different mentality if it's the children who won't leave.

Kinda makes me wonder how many decades it took you to pay for your bling.

    1. definitely you don't have any apple products. You pay for apple tech support.
    2. my bling took 45 seconds, thats how long it took the cashier to count the cash! But in your case, it may take decades.

you are obviously living high. even with your "high" salary you are always discontented. Talk is cheap. so go ahead and talk.

45 seconds? That's what you said the cashier did bai. That still doesn't rule out how many decades it took you to get there (ahem, abi nimo makalusot imo paikot noh?) or how many people you hid from to get the money.

Here's a fact check: I buy an apple product. i have a problem i return it. simple as that. Yes, it's included in the price, or didn't you know?

You don't have an REAL job man gud that's why you believe that telling us about the things you have (instead of what you've done) is a measure of your worth. Nobody cares. Get over it! And then you blame me for being discontented. Don't blame the happy people or the dreamers, bai. Even yet, don't blame the people who keep striving for a better life. Something you are obviously incapable of doing.

*pustaanay ta ani ron balik balikon na ug mention ang mac kai mao ra man ikabuga. now who's all cheap talk? Kai ako wla gyud ko naghinambog diri ug unsay gipamalit nako. pustaanay pud ta ukayon napud ni kai ganahan lang gyud siya mohirit nako ug magpakaulaw. if you want to brag about your mac and publicly make a fool out of yourself do it in the computer hardware forum. *
