regarding rooting... how dangerous is this?
naa man gud ko huawei IDEOS. It's great except sa browsing so I want to root it and naa naman guides sa internet.

Sa Smart nga plan na` ang IDEOS nimo, Metz, or pinalit gyud na`? Asa man kapalit ana` karsn kay nangutana nako sa Huawei opis sa IT Park, wala man kuno sila baligya.

Android user here. My phone is Xperia x10a which came with an outdated 1.6 OS, but I have since rooted it and flashed a 2.2 ROM with Cyanogen Mod 7.

just a claim. worst to it way link to the researchers page or website or research results/findings. sa laktud nga pagkaistorya, himo-himo ra.

also, wala naman dili vulnerable karon. aw pwede diay dili mavulnerable, just use the android phone as a calculator or something which won't need an access to accounts and sync. what you think?

I don't use public wifi only my own wifi network at home then when am out use my data plan.

yes bai, retention program nila and it will work for me kay mao jud ako need. Cheap and effective android phone. IDEOS rules hehehe. medyo hinay lang jud sa browsing but ok ra.

so naa jud diay risks accessing email sa public wifi even if https ang connection?

also, a question about synching, once online ang android through wifi, mo sync jud automatic sa ako gmail calendar even if wala nako gi access?

Naa na official Gingerbread update ang Galaxy tab? If official Gingerbread update, i think mas maau gyud i-restore nimo imo galaxy tab to its original configuration. Not really familiar with samsung, but with HTC, you need to revert back to stock before you can get official OTA updates.
