company of heroes - my bet for best RTS this year -- what makes this game unique is that there is no resource gathering... dali ra mag gubat.. no more "patambukay". early in the game you will be forced to explore the map else you are at a disadvantage

The "no resource gathering scheme" was popularized by DoW (Dawn of War) which was made by Relic (same as Compnay of Heroes). I think they just used the same formula from their successful DoW and put a couple of more things (excellent graphics and animation) in order to release this very good RTS. ^_^

u mean Rise Of Legends? yeah, the grafix was good, and also the gameplay.
