The business environment should be fair for the employers and employees.... 120 hike will really hurt... but then again if naay incentive to cushion the hike, then i guess okay ra... But people should know that the sudden upsurge in wages will just increase the price of basic goods... even if this wage hike will be implemented, the poor will not benefit from this.... i ask you, pila man ka establishment wa nagpatuman ug minimum wage Pirting daghana.... i don't blame the unions to ask for more considering their bosses are living a lavish life, how could they believe the businessmen? but then again, the upsurge in wages might force companies to start heading to China.... i know two big companies are recently moving out to china.....i hope no one else will follow...

More shortcomings than benefits in minimum wage system, says Lim Swee Say - *Singapore News - XinMSN News

    just another point of view.

the point being, we must not price ourselves out of the market. Some people here do not believe in being competitive. There are jobs here in Philippines paying upwards of php ?00,000 a month. are the minimum wage earners qualified for this? if yes, then the P405 is just coffee money for the day.

first, he will demand for the small hook and some line, then for a fishing net, then for a small banca, a fish finder, maybe later for a Purse seiner.

aw, kung improved worker skills nya tan-aw sa worker gamay ra ang gihatag compared to "what they THINK they should be getting", lagput raman ghapon na silang tanan sa gawas sa nasud. continual brain drain ra ghapon ta dinhi. boo hoo!

bottomline bah, kung ang tao maka kita ug lain nga mas dako sweldo comparar iyang makuha dinhi sa pinas, aw wla na siyay paki kay the bigger salary the better man jud.

hmmm... wage increase is rendered useless if there's no capping on the prices of our goods at the time of its implementation. our government must do something to make it more effective.

    how true!

wage increase is only good for those that have jobs. it would be doubly hard for those just entering the market.

wage increase is also a job killer as businesses tend to mechanize. machines never complain

This time...manginahanlan najud tag increase ....kay ang 285/day kulang rah kaayo bisan duha pamu nagtrabaho sulod sa inyong familya....

But P120.40 wages across the board is much......Many of our employer here in central visayas will possibly be closed.
    Think about IT:
Your the employer and your daily salary of your employees will be 405.40/day...This another expenses my affect to the products. It will also increase in price...So kung naa kay bakery tagpiso lage pero mura nag bula sa pingpong ang gidak-on. then mofollow nasad ang tanan nah product na mo mahal..

The P405.40 is great for us (employess )but this is burdens to our employers. And not for that maybe many incoming investors will back off to invest here in central visayas.Sakto nanang P25.00 oi...maporduy mansad atong amo anang P120...

So the total is 310/day nah..kung duha sa imong family nagtrabaho...paits nah...
