Which are best lens for my canon camera?

With regards to your mull over why the sellers on Amazon named the exact same lenses several things, I can tell you- it's because they can. They have the freedom to call it fancy names(i.e. super mega ultra cool Canon Camera is the same with Amazing super magic Canon Cam) but even both names describe exactly what the lens is Canon Zoom Wide Angle-Telephoto and it is also a Lens for Canon EOS SLR Cameras

A lens below 50mm is considered Wide (angle). Since this particular lens starts at 24mm, it is a Wide Angle lens.
above 50mm is also considered Telephoto, thus Wide (angle) to Telephoto lens for Canon EOS Cameras (EOS-the technology Canon uses for their dslrs.. and I guess all of the newer models since 1987 according to Wikipedia) I guess to put it simply EOS is the electronic coordination betweeen Camera (flash and the entire chuva system itself) and lens itself..

so you know about this stuff are you professional photographer.. which of the two you think is a good choice for me Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM Lens OR Canon EF 70-200mm f/4 L IS USM Lens for Canon Digital SLR Cameras.. i just wonder if my camera can take all of this lens, or maybe i need to buy another camera.. i hope not coz i barely used the other one i've got.

@dolina dili ko mag worried about phils. warranty naa ko sa states naka base.. kung mo uli man gani ko diha maybe 3 weeks ra ko.. naka suway diay ko palit sa amazon palit ko remote control ok ra baya sila peru like u said maka tayming ka yabag nga seller lisud na, i guess they are all the same tayming tayming lang hope maka tayming maayo seller.. mas nindot gyud ang local ta palit para dili lisud sa warranty peru mahal man sila oy.. plano unta ko palit sa best buy peru mas mahal sila ug wa kaayo sila selection diri madali dali naku kay online gyud ko palit ani.. thank you dolina.. try daw na naku barato ba sila..

I would feel safer if you ordered from Adorama Camera.

I mentioned the Canon warranty because some P.I.-based photogs make pabili hoping for a deal but they end up paying through the nose in warranty repairs.

you don't need to be a professional photog to know this stuff, sooner you'll get the hang of it as you progress. =)

I'm using a 70-200L f4 w/ IS for my telephoto I prefer this over than the 70-200 f2.8 w/IS cause its lighter and smaller, I travel a lot so its less the burden and for my wide I use the 17-40L. personal choice ra gyd na, as what they say "its not the pana but the injan daw" heheheh

chanel, get the best that you can afford. If you don't shoot a lot under low light and want to go light, then an f4 set will do... but if you can cope up with the weight and will most likely shoot under low lighting conditions then the f2.8 set will be a better choice... either way, they are all good lenses and having IS helps a lot.

I also suggest you buy your stuff from adorama.com or bhphotovideo.com...

maybe a general walkabout 18-200 f3.5-5.6 lens will do (then spend the extra moolah to an external flash if you really really need to shoot bikinis during night time... or, spend it on a new gucci purse [...or something]). almost half the price of the lenses that you mentioned, lighter, and has a decent wide to telephoto coverage. not to mention it has a minimum focus distance of 1.5ft at all its focal lengths.
