good day! im newbie nto hamster,,planning to buy pa..(dwarf campbell)

unsa may ika advice ninyo?murag taas2 naman gud ang thread nga akong e scan...

if you're a newbie sa hamsters, it might not be advisable to buy a dwarf hamster because they are known to bite. even after you tame them, if you don't handle them too often, they can still bite and they bite hard!
Syrians are the tamer breed, especially Male ones. Syrians are a bit bigger but they are still small animals man so no problem na. also, they fight with each other so you get to keep only one! mas gamay gasto hehe. after they are tamed, they NEVER ever bite!
aquariums are ok but make sure it is covered with a screen nga di ma kit2, but if you can afford a cage, it' better unta because aquariums are pretty enclosed spaces and will smell bad.

advice lang: buy Syrian because they are super nice all their life. buy a cage if possible because it smells less bad. make sure your hamster has a wheel for exercise. provide bedding and food, and have a water bottle (not a water bowl because they get sick easily and might catch a cold if they get wet)

I have 12 Dwarf Hamster at home, bisan 5 months na sila nako most of the males still bite me, hehehe, gamay kaayo ang samad pero puncture wound man siya sa mu dugo jud, ehehe, patience lang jud basta dwarf imung hamster, cute man pud sila tanawun sa isa ka cage as 1 colony, hehehe

Question to the experts, all my 7 pups have grown hair already and are eating on their own. Mga two weeks old pani sila. Should I separate them form mom na? And when can they start living on their own/by themselves?

naa koy question..kung manganak ang dwarf hamster? dapat i lahi gyud ang male(father) or dili? ky sa karon man gud ako gi lain ang male(father).. nya 3weeks na mga anak.. ako na gi balhin ang anak sa lain cage nya ako gi sagol ang male(father) sa cage sa female(mama) mag cge naman bugno.. lols.. dapat ba i lahi ni sila or puede ra i tipon if manganak na.

hello mga sir. intrested ta ko mag pet ug hamster. canvassing ko unsa nindut i pet. Mga pila kaha magasto tanan para maka start. Like Food/Cage/accesories and the hamster itself. Syrian man kaha tamed. tagpila man sad. and which is better to keep. a male or a female. Thanks daan sa mutubag.
