You're pretty proud sa BPO industry jud ha..I'm a call center agent pero ambot I can't be proud sa mga call centers jud..One requirement for the BPO industry to flourish in a country is that that country has to be POOR. Otherwise, walay BPO. Proud?

mao kafaet naman lang ma ok lagi ang mga taw kay dako sweldo ang bpo pro faet kung mao rana atong saligan dapat mas mangita ta ug ways nga mas ma ok atong economy without dpending on this bpo...

yes nindot jud ning lugara ni. duol ra pud ni sa downtown, 3 to 4 kms. Jack's Ridge, Shrine Hills, Matina. Duol lang pud dinha ang Sto. Niño Shrine. Walking distance lang.

Cebu maybe has lot of minor crimes but to think, that's an outcome of being progressive. As many people will flock to Cebu, there will be an increase of petty crimes. Cebu city is a 3m population compared to Davao for 1m+. that's a big disparity. its no wonder that the police cant policed the city for 24 hours everyday with the country lacks of police and financial support.

anyway, as regard to the street children's and families living in the street. for what i know, those families and children's are mostly not from Cebu. those are families in the other parts of the Philippines looking for greener pasture in Cebu and end up being beggars. i remember before they were sent to their respective provinces and was given financial support but they end up coming back to Cebu.

hmm. as to being proud as an BPO hub in the Philippines excluding Manila, that is something to be proud of, why the heck we shouldn't proud of it where infact, its a big boost to the city and also for the country. it's a big help for the Cebuano's knowing that their income to spend is higher than before and in return that will create more developments to Cebu.

Davaobred, i wouldnt suprise you being proud of Davao if they will have IT hubs, as what i know theyre trying to have one. hmm.


anyway, ill rest my case here. theres nothing much to say since the question is being direct and to answer it directly, i would say Cebu, not just because im a cebuano but Cebu is everything and unique, the great music the food the beaches the traditions and the people. its something that you will always look in Cebu. like i said, it depends on your preferences. Davao is a good city too.

I do not think that is what he meant. Per my understanding ingon ani. Studyante man ka noh? So hibalo guro ka what sustainable development is? Okay from there ani, in the real world, this is hard to attain. because in every development naa jud masacrifice. ex. kung mag allow kag industrialization, daghan mga kahoy na maputol. kung modaku ang syudad, ang peace and order magsuffer.

so basing ana, sa ako nakita sa Davao, they prioritize more their peace and order vs. industrialization. ug dili lang na tungod kay mao nay ilang gipanghambog. tungod na kay dool kaayo sila sa mga kagubot sa southern mindanao. if they will falter sa ila security within sa ila ciudad, then they are most susceptible and vulnerable sa outside forces.

for cebu, unfortunate but we have to admit, our streets is not safe. mahadlok naman gani ta sa jeep magtext kay basin naay holduper. mahadlok naman gani guro ka magtaxi ikaw ra isa in the wee hour of the morning. mahadlok magbaktas sa streets labi na daghay tambay na mga gangs. i didn't feel this during my stay in Davao. This month alone, pila ka bangko sa chinabank ang natulis? Last month, naay gitulis na M. Lhulier na van, sa Mactan Bridge, a very high traffic, public place not to mention a tourist destination gani. Hay let us not be so defensive on this, kay para masolutionan. di ta magpakabuta bungol sa ato weaknesses. tanan man guro na naghandom ug kalinaw diri. ato ni pangitaan ug solusyon.

i think pareho lang mo ug tabas sa baba mao na magkainitay mo. tarong lang gud mog storya gud.

i WAS a student before... if secured man gani ang Davao how come nag hesitant ko and not only me but some of my classmates. and as i always say, even in New York dili safe bisag asa na lugar bro hadluk, dont say Davao safe kaau, nabombahan gani sila several times (pls dont react on this bcoz its true) - im not happy when it happened but thats reality, i am only stating facts na bisag unsaon ka strikto sa lugar naa jud gubot even Vatican City grabe ang crime rate. who said Cebu's street is NOT safe? if its not safe then wala na untay mo gawas, wala nay mo party pag gabii, if u want to generalize unsay nahitabo kagahapon well might as well people from Cebu will generalize what happened Davao's Bombing.

Davao is focusing on BPO din naman diba? i think theyre opening an IT place din sa Davao. it's like they wanted to be one of the BPO destinations sa Pinas. it doesnt follow that if the country is a BPO destination POOR na agad, i believe daghan requirements why ni excel ang pinas ana, has less expensive operational and labor costs, as well as an English-speaking workforce, hardworking, etc etc etc... Canada is one of the BPO destinations, does it mean poor ang Canada?

oh by the way, its kind of ironic that you always complain about call centers when you are an agent. we have a saying - "If you don't like what you have been getting, just change what you have been doing!"

u think that is exag? i think so. bcoz if dili safe ang Cebu wala nko dri after a month of staying.
