does this mean walay peace and order ang CEBU? we could only see it in Davao?

before, ni plano ko ug study sa Davao bcoz im from CDO but tungod sa mga news, balita balita i was hesitant - dont get me wrong ha but this is my PERSONAL experience... for so long nko na stay sa CDO and Cebu i should say makita nako ang peace and order dri sa imo gi ingun na peace and order sa Davao, naa bay differences ana nila?

I do not think that is what he meant. Per my understanding ingon ani. Studyante man ka noh? So hibalo guro ka what sustainable development is? Okay from there ani, in the real world, this is hard to attain. because in every development naa jud masacrifice. ex. kung mag allow kag industrialization, daghan mga kahoy na maputol. kung modaku ang syudad, ang peace and order magsuffer.

so basing ana, sa ako nakita sa Davao, they prioritize more their peace and order vs. industrialization. ug dili lang na tungod kay mao nay ilang gipanghambog. tungod na kay dool kaayo sila sa mga kagubot sa southern mindanao. if they will falter sa ila security within sa ila ciudad, then they are most susceptible and vulnerable sa outside forces.

for cebu, unfortunate but we have to admit, our streets is not safe. mahadlok naman gani ta sa jeep magtext kay basin naay holduper. mahadlok naman gani guro ka magtaxi ikaw ra isa in the wee hour of the morning. mahadlok magbaktas sa streets labi na daghay tambay na mga gangs. i didn't feel this during my stay in Davao. This month alone, pila ka bangko sa chinabank ang natulis? Last month, naay gitulis na M. Lhulier na van, sa Mactan Bridge, a very high traffic, public place not to mention a tourist destination gani. Hay let us not be so defensive on this, kay para masolutionan. di ta magpakabuta bungol sa ato weaknesses. tanan man guro na naghandom ug kalinaw diri. ato ni pangitaan ug solusyon.

i think pareho lang mo ug tabas sa baba mao na magkainitay mo. tarong lang gud mog storya gud.

dili man sa Manila nila nakuha ang ilang tinagalog. pag moadto gud ka ug southern part sa Mindanao, kasagaran didto chavacano / chavano or mga dialects originating from it. murag naay pagkaspanyol. then farther south, arabic kasagaran kay diha na ang mga muslim. so since tanan man ta were taught tagalog, tagalog ang ilaha common language. since Davao is the most industrialized City na dool didtong dapita, mostly ang trading mahitabo sa Davao. so basically, ang mga davao resident mahulog na saksak sinagol ila mga tao didto with different dialects. so Bistag na noon ang mga tao didto.

Same ra sad na sa mga ilongga nato na kung moanhi sa Cebu, mas preference nila magtagalog kay lahi ilang binisaya.

Daghan na man gud dayo sa Davao mao na mixed ang dialect. sama nko taga Cebu man jud mi pero naabot ra pud mi ug Davao. Even the Dutertes are originally from Danao, Cebu. Former Mayor Luis Santos(wala nko kaabot ani) is from Luzon, and most big businessmen here are orignally from Luzon. That's why mixed ang dialect, combination na among different dialects.

yes, there was a Duterte na naging mayor sa Cebu City sometime in the 50s or 60s. Most likely paryente cla but as far as i know, the late Sen. Alejandro Almendras who hailed from Danao, Cebu brought his cousin the late Vicente Duterte, father of Rody Duterte, to Davao way back in the 50s. Vicente Duterte became governor of Davao in late 50s. C Alejandro Almendras, iyang mama was Elisea Durano, grandaunt ni Ace Durano.

So, Almendras-Durano-Duterte, isa lang na sila ka clan.

Remarkable kaayo ang progress sa Davao City under kay Rody Duterte and Cebuanos should be proud of this kay mismo ang mga Dutertes hail from Cebu!
