Rant: When will the sucking stop?

AMD has been really sucking so bad, they are doing everything just to get the limelight. When will they ever stop? I mean, hey, grow up and be professional. Reviews comparing Intel top dog versus AMD top dog abound (but a quick look at the test bed *cough* one clue *cough* is memory timing *cough* and you'll know why 955XE may have fared a little poorer) and yet, that still didn't made them to stop sucking. No, it's not really about the reviews, I could care less about the results when you look at the test setup, it's almost a given looking at that. At least, the reviewers are posting test setup, though their thoughts are always bias and will always disregard the Ghz vs PR battle and focuses on Ghz vs Ghz, which is crap anyway.

"But if it's not the review, then what makes them suck even more?" you may ask youselves. Well it's simple, they copied Intel®'s idea about the Intel® Viiv and came up with their own AMD Live. Wow, wow, wow...sucker to the max. Not only do they copy the idea, they even named it to sound like Viiv. Now, anyone remembers when one tech writer (yes, just one) writes about how Intel® may have copied AMD's 64bit implementation? Wow, the Internet world was like shaken by intensity 10000 earthquake, every fanboy on the other camp was like "OMGWTF, they copied it" etc etc etc. That's how AMD (and most of its fans) are like, sucker to the max and thirsty for attention. They will try to steal attention like what they are doing at IDF. They just suck so bad.

And oh, this one is good. Intel® has a new tagline, and of course, with the new tagline, it's only natural to have a website on that URL right? Now try to click the links below, another sign of suckiness and copycat in its uber form. Be the judge:

think? have u ever encountered a tech product that is just so original that u cant get it cuz its made just for the fortunate few? common? think of it as copying or whatever, but the best part is that consumers will benefit from all of this copied technical advancement. i mean, its like ur saying that u dnt wanna buy levi's 501 cause its being worn by everyone?

cpu developement is dependent on many factors, especially those manufacturing the chipsets on the motherboard they where designed to. if VIA chipset will only design for the Intel cpu, then they will have a loosing edge on those chips going for Intel and AMD alike.

like ryt now, microsoft is moving towards the 64-bit platform, will these tech giants go for a give and take? i think not.

think of it this way na lang? y do microsoft never stop on developing and updating their windows platform? y is there always a new game released every month, why do engineers never stop searching for ways to lessen latency? answer, becuase technology has many loopholes that needs fixing, and technological developement will never stop.

JUST WAIT 'TIL AMD PRODUCES THERE OWN CHIPS INSTALLED ON MOTHERBOARDS LIKE ASUS, EPOX, ETC. I'LL DEFINITELY GET ONE, PROBABLY TWO.

but it doesn't sucked that much. my frend still runs need for speed most wanted on a duron rig, 1.4ghz lang ang speed. if pentium 3 pa yun, for sure, mahihirapan.

m running that game on this athlonxp 2200+ rig of mine, medium settings lahat, ok naman. radeon 9200se lang na card with 256mb mem.

another frend of mine who owns an internet cafe has difficulty running nfsmw on my settings, and guess what, its an lga 775 system, 2.4g on an asrock board, with 512mb mem, geforce mx4000 vga.

yup, everything should be left for the buyer to decide, amd or intel system will work fine, but must be combined with proper hardware and system setup.

but for me, amd will always be my first and last choice when it comes to system building. amd has made it to the top, slowly but surely. with there persistent engineering team, combined with innovative product research.
