Anyone knows practitioners , instructors , schools , etc here in Cebu City ?

You guys can also talk about it here , I myself was introduced to the basics of Krav Maga but wala nako practice . Maybe we can form a club or inner circle of Krav Maga enthusiast .

Naa daw school sa Manila and the name of its founder is Kenneth Asunscion but then all I know that it is not being taught at unless its a seminar .

Naka 3 day seminar ko sa Las Vegas , NV bro . Basics lang and it is not even close to intermediate techniques .

i really love to learn krav maga. dugay na kaayo ko gusto makat-on ani. it's so different and much, much more practical than traditional martial arts which most became sports oriented. i just watch video tutorials of krav maga now.

Basically viedo tutorials and practice makes your day kay clear and specific man ang Krav Maga and it emphasizes commonsense instead of being fancy . Straight to the point bodily injury to opponents and attackers bisan multiple pa .

It doesnt even need practitioners to be physically fit . Kinahanglan lang gyud constant practice and a partner na religiously can practice with you .

From what i been told there is no Krav Maga in Cebu yet.....
But you do have other styles that have similarities with Krav Maga like Villasin Balintawak or the parts i teach of Bujinkan (Ninjutsu).

sakto jud. tutorials really help and simple ra kaayo ang mga techniques sa krav maga, it's what you see is what you get. i just hope that krav maga will be in cebu real soon. nindot kaayo ni kat-onon especially for people with MA background na.

Video tutorials dont work, you need a instructor that can guide you, correct your mistakes and a sparring partner....

Try to look at what Krav Maga is.....Krav Maga is made up from Jiu-Jitsu/Ju-Jutsu and Boxing techniques, this is one of the reasons it has similarities to Bujinkan (which has many Ju-Jutsu Ryus) and Balintawak which is made from Eskrima, Jiu-Jitsu and Boxing (sounds familiar right)....
I even heard from other Krav Maga people that Bujinkan and Krav Maga has many Similarities and during my training within Villasin Balintawak i know how many things Bujinkan and the Villasin style has in common....

So why not train a real Martial Arts with many similarities to Krav Maga like the same way of thinking, some of the same techniques with a real Instructor........Instead of just looking at youtube clips?

i think krav maga video tutorials will work for somebody who has martial arts background and a practice/sparring partner. in my opinion, krav maga is just basically an integration of different martial arts techniques. so i think vids will work well.

Sure, it might work if you have a background within styles like Boxing and Jiu-Jitsu or Bujinkan, Balintawak or other that has similarities to Krav Maga and someone to train it with....
But i would try cross-training in one of the styles above at the same time, just to learn faster and be able to have a instructor that could guide and correct you mistakes in person....

I by the way mix parts from Bujinkan (Ninjutsu) with FMA/Eskrima like the Dacayana Eskrima System and the Villasin Balintawak style.....

Remember that Bujinkan had similarities to Krav Maga because of its many Ju-Jutsu Ryus and the way we use our body movement, but also the Villasin Balintawak style has many similarities to Krav Maga because it has Jiu-Jitsu and Boxing movement....
