Hair provides warmth and can absorb moisture. We need the added warmth on our genitals, but it would be unfortunate if it grew straight down to the ground and tripped us while we walked so the solution was what we call pubic hair. Its short, so it cant wrap around your genitals and cut of the circulation and it wont get all tangled up and filled with filth when you use the bathroom. Curly pubes are just good common sense to mother nature.
