Some people run for politics to just try and make a living. Their tenure is only 4 years, so they try to plunder as much as they can to save up for the rainy days when they lose and have no job.

Politics nowadays is synonymous towards power and wealth,
the usurpation of the authoritative visage of the people
masking it with false servitude, but having a true countenance
of a master being served and offered.
