most of the tourists are attracted by the old churches of iloilo.. there are a lot really.. another thing is the food, its good and cheap especially seafood.. as to the hotels there are a lot in the city nga barato search lang online.. gusto kag bar hopping naay smallville murag bar complex ug restaurants.. mid february timing na sa paraw regatta festival (tentative sched is feb 12-19).. its a sailing festival and crafting event at the same time kay murag lain2x ug design ang mga sails.. gamay ra ang city proper, pwede raka mag lakaw2x and its quite safe pud pwede raka katxt2x bisag daplin dalan pero dapat careful jud ka always.. 40 mins away across iloilo is guimaras island.. naay mga white sand beaches pud pwede pud island hopping ug watch mga turtles/pawikan didto.. from iloilo airport its around 35 mins ride to the city.. pwede raka sakay shuttle to sm city murag 50 pesos ang fare (not sure) and taxi is 350 Php.. dont forget to taste the original la paz batchoy.. hehehe..
