pag mag upgrade ka from leopard to snow leopard bai..duha ra gud imo options either upgrade Leopard or wipe the old OS and start fresh.

i recommend upgrade para walay hasol and its the easiest option sa duha,Simply install snow Leopard right on top of your existing Leopard..recommended ni xia sa apple,in most cases dali ra gud ni xia..

ang second option is mas lisud if dli kau ka sweto aning MAC

mao ni buhaton nimo:
-wipe your drive and start from scratch

things u need:
*Singular- shareware program for finding and duplicating files
*carbon copy cloner -used for making back ups
*extra hard drive -mas mau if FIREWIRE para dali ra nmo ma rollback into Leopard in case naay mahitabo inig install nmo sa SNOW LEOPARD. or wa gani u can use USB2 external drive.


step1:-delete/removed useless garbage nga dli na nmo magamit nga files..para maka save ka ug space.

- use SINGULAR drag suspect folders (photos,docs,movies,music) sa main window and delete ur duplicates
after nmo mahurot ug delete imong duplicates time to sweep your disk na using OMNIDISK.


step2: MAG create ka ug BACKUP,if mo support imo MAC use FIREWIRE external drive.

to create a bootable backup sa imong main drive..use CARBON COPY CLONER...simple ra kau..push lang ka sa button ok na.

inig human nmo ug CARBON COPY CLONER..reboot your MAC wid ur external drive connected(hold option key to boot from backup drive.)

sud ang installer,turn off mac and unplug d back up drive....

step3:install mac snow leopard dayon..ayg kalimot ug wipe out sa imong hard drive(select the erase and install option sa installer)

LAST STEP: migration settings sa mac

ig boot nmo sa snow leopard..naay option to migrate files and settings,select "other mac" and den plug ur external hard drive..if u select ang default option..mbalik to tanan imong gpang copy(balik ka sugod)i suggest ayaw e migrate ang mga files nga wala nmo magamit d past 3 months.
