    Default Lucid Hydra embedded?

Here's a news article i missed that was very interesting:
Overclock3D :: Article :: Lucid Chips on Graphics Cards? :: Rumour Mill in Overdrive

Says here that the hydra chip could be well on it's way on being embedded on upcoming gpus. In fact, the ATI 6000 series is rumored to have it.
This is a big leap in popularizing the technology since you would no longer need to rely on a lucid hydra capable motherboard.
The makers of lucid hydra state that there is virtually no performance loss on their upcoming chip but i can't help but be very skeptical. We'll have to see the tests and benchmarks

Kudos for AMD then but I doubt Nvidia would integrate it on their cards.

I think beneficial for both companies to adapt hydra. If they do then they won't have to worry about keeping on sending out drivers for crossfire or sli compatibility. That task would be left for the makers of lucid hydra. We can potentially say goodbye to Catalyst and SLI profiles for multi-gpu scaling.

Ang question nako ani kay would it be possible to run your gpu on hydra if only one of ur gpus has the chip? or would you need both gpus to have the chip in order to run hydra scaling? I hope it's the former
