    Default Fresh Grad? Let's talk.

Hi! I'm a newbie here in the site. Been searching for jobs online and I'm glad I bumped into Istorya.net, where Visayans are usually online and are open to have conversations with you. So yeah, 8 months have passed since I graduated and up until now, I still don't have a job. 😅 I'm waiting for the LET results to be released this late November and I was thinking of applying for a job in the BPO industry for the mean time. What do you think?

I suggest go for your profession kay once maka work nakag lain or dili in-line sa imong field basin mawala na imong gana to pursue ana imong g-skwelahan

im an IT graduate but i work sa government and not practicing my degree.

    Why?

computer companies prefer top graduates - ako intawn gamay grado

katong nag school pa ko sa san carlos .. we students dream of being employed in a high tech company go abroad and do our shit.
but after we graduated.. we face the reality nga some people are better than us.

but now... i realized... unsaon man nimu kung IT gradaute ka and you do you shit.. but gamay sweldo.
compared sa your not practicing your degree but daku ka ug income...

selfish kaayu atong dreams pag college days nato... but when we walk the real life na... salary matters gyud

Wow! Thanks for your responses. I'm planning to take up my Masters this June and I feel like I've been wasting so much time. I could've earned some money while waiting! 😅 So anyways, I'm currently looking for a boarding house or dorm (or any good place to stay) before I apply for a job, most probably - BPO, in Cebu. I'm from Bohol diay. Hello there. 😊

Apply for a job while wala kay gibuhat for income and experience. Gamit sad nang BPO/ Call Center job especially kung English major ka. Naa pa man kaha kay pila ka months before sa hiring season for teachers, go for it! Sayang kaayo ang 8 months nga wala kay gibuhat. Pero depende ra na nimo hahaha.
