    Default Bad Experience with Nutech

I would advise everyone to refrain from buying from Nutech if you can help it. They have very bad after sales service. I bought a hard drive that went kaput within warranty. Had it replaced and they said that they would have to send it to Manila! Also, the wise guys in RMA sent it to the wrong distributor when the correct distributor was in Cebu all along! Nice. One month and 10 days later no hard drive. Told to wait 4 more days. Nice.

Lesson learned: ask if the warranty will be serviced locally for each and every product you buy from there. Sometimes, you may not be able to avoid buying from there not because their prices are particularly low but they have some hard to find products. Otherwise avoid them like the plague. Spread the word, you never know how many of our less informed members might be duped into buying there without the necessary information and preparation.

^^ they have similar process with seagate... and i agree, basta HDD, ikaw nalang pa RMA drtso, paspas pa...

so bottomline, kung possible nga ikaw mismo magpa RMA, ikaw nalang para sure ka nga na process gyud... slight disadvantage lang mo gasto ka gamay.... but i dont mind for as long as i will not wait in vain...

that's the normal RMA flow... one way lang ni ha...

end user --> store --> distributor --> manufacturer...

mas pas2x if kani ang gamiton...

end user --> manufacturer............... kaso, not all manufacturers in ani ang flow...

Unfortunate things happen but that doesn't mean the company sucks.

The hard drive failure was an unfortunate event. The fact that they admitted themselves that they mixed up distributors and took a month to service a request when it should have taken lesser is a CONSCIOUS lack of concern for the customer. They even consulted the owner and he allegedly said that I would have to wait for the replacement from the proper distributor even when he knew that it was his personnel that committed the mistake. Businesses like this should not have a place in a market that is as competitive as computer parts retail. Informing consumers is key. There is no need to take this BS.

Their business model shows an utter lack of concern for the customer. Do you want to shop in a business like this? Would you let your friends and family?
