andres abellana st. along the same road as AA's guadalupe. nah, it's much bigger now. improved na jd ang place!

their sisig ain't as good as it used to be. it ain't sizzling when served and gamay ra ang serving. ssslllloooooooowwww service, commercialized naman gud. it's hot especially during lunchtime to midafternoon. i miss the ambiance of the old zao. it was a true hole-in-the-wall. it was a great place to bring your 2nd or third girlfriend. me and my teammates usually go there every thursday night after football practice. kami ang manira sa zao.

i'd rather go to MB's now if i want the tago-tago ambiance. try their sphaghetti pizzarelli and steaks. american and european sized servings at only 250-300 good for 2-4 persons. kahayag and handuraw are too noisy if you are age 30above. Moon cafe still has the same ambiance but service there is lousy and the food seems to be deteriorating.

if you want the zao-type ambiance with a free look at local bands practicing or recording, go to backyard project at sanson road. their cafeteria-type menu is very affordable and beer is only 30. or go to kukuks nest at gorordo for several rounds of beer and their roasted chicken as pulutan.

anybody here knows another hole-in-the-wall type resto like the old zao that serves great tasting and affordable steaks and pasta ?

hmmm.. MB's? as in tavern? it's too far.. and there are lots of better tasting pizzas na... sa una siguro lami jud sila..

yes, i agree. MoOon's ambience is very nice jud but ila food kay dili na au lami btaw..

dako differens sa new zau and the old one. well nyc to before coz it feels like naa mo privacy cz tago.on ang place. but good for them they expand coz they realy hav a good food and good service plus reasonable pa ang price. i love their gambas! gambas gambas ever jud ko! hehe. not like moon, nga their service is really disgusting and dghan au food sa menu but gamai ra available. hehe

anyone there who knows kung unsa ang lami sa Zao? wala paman gud ko katry.. ako tana e-treat ako uyab... pila sad kaha no? mauwaw ko mo-ask personally...hhehhe
