I am a member of club ultima : But sad to say, they promise a lot, privileges and benefits etc...but it was a third time that we want to avail a hotel accommodation abroad,,,but they cannot arrange accommodation for us....they need 3 months or maybe 1 year in order to get an available room for you....they advice that they are not in control of their affiliates...wtf!
What is the point of getting membership if you don't have the privilege or the convenient to arrange that simple availments...
So, what we did? We book our own to agoda.com...just a matter of a click....and then we get the favorable hotels with no hassle>.....
So istoryans!!!
Do not believe on their promotional campaign....(club ultima), free hotel accomodation, etc ekekekekeke....don't believe on them...those agents who try to convince you...spread this to your friends....
We are still a member of this...but i don't get much benefits esp. In getting availment for hotel outside the philippines....they need centuries to book your hotel before you can get any.
Think of it before you jump into this membership...pm me if you want proof....

We get 14 nights: and 5 yrs to pay.....still paying for premium.......what annoys me.....if you are late for just a day that you forget to pay for your premium...you will receive a hundred emails and calls to remind you of your obligations....
But what about their services offered to the members?what about their promotional campaign promises? .....They don't care actually....I do hope that the Senior management or the owner of the company will read this predicaments......I am totally disappointed of my membership.
This post will remain forever until it will reach to you...or maybe the admin istorya will delete this, hope not.

Book here in Phils...Crown Regency Hotels;;;;Makati, Boracay, Cebu, Mactan...etc...owned by them...They need 3-5 days for booking.
One time, we are in Makati and we did not expect that there were sudden changes of our schedule of meetings and we desperately need a hotel to stay for just a night....we called up Makati Regency just to avail our membership or privilege..But hotel staff answered as a BIG SORRY...that they don't have a ROOM for us....how annoying...so, it is pointless of having membership like this..
But...but...we can stay..for a night if, if,....we give 2 vouchers.......so, now,,,,tell me..how did you feel?

My intention is not to turn down the company(anyway, they are rich already...you cannot do anything about them)...
but THIS IS JUST a wake up call to ordinary earner like me......I do hope that this post will reach the masses especially the OFW. Be warned...............

To present the other side of the coin here. I too is a member of their CU Vacation Club and just completed the payment recently. Maybe its the agent or the sales rep that went overboard during the presentation with you. Sales rep regardless of the company are good at that. Usahay makapabangon patay ang ila mga statements. Sweet to the ears. Painful to the pocket.

My experience is a bit different from yours, so here we go. As explained to me, Club Ultima is being given a certain amount of slots by affiliate hotels every month. These slots are then allocated to members in first come first serve basis.

Room Reservation Needs Scheduling - way Ahead. This has been made clear to me for so many times before I signed in for the membership. Plan ahead. Remember that Club Ultima just like others is not in control of the hotels (Crown Regency in this case). The hotel have their own separate management even if they are under the same umbrella. Besides, the hotel itself has its own sales force and not to mention other travel agencies who also compete for room reservations.

I have been availing the privileges of my membership but so far, I haven't encountered any issues at all. I mean not down to the level that me and the CU agent handling my account have not come into an agreement. Yes, it happened a few times nga wala ko nakuha nga room for one reason or the other but I always get a decent explanation and options are presented.

same is true with the Interval International privilege where you exchange you full set voucher to avail of international room accommodations.

Unscheduled Need for a Room Pwede gyapon ka mag walk-in at any Crown Regency hotels dala lang ang voucher but there is no guarantee nga naa ka makuha nga room.

In short, you just need to have a good talk with the CU agent who handles your account. Present your plans and ask them to provide options. Its a two-way process bro. Just because we are members doesn't mean we are always served anywhere we want at anytime convenient to us. Remember that there are other members out there who can lay down a 1 year travel plan ahead. And in most cases, they are the ones who get the most out of this membership.

But bro, for OFW I don't think you can plan ahead for 1 year or 6 months less.....There are times that we have unscheduled vacation leave and more often our vacations were not according to our plans...In short, it is pointless of being a member without having the opportunity or convenient to avail such privileges....They will always have the reason that " we need time to reserve your hotel accomodation ,,,,blah blah.....
