asay mas nindot ug reception? S-Video Cable vs DVD Component Cable?
s-video. labaw na kung thx.hehehe
sorry guys, but the best is component cable... (and more expensive specially w/ the monster cable).
Component - The video signal is split into three signals, two color and one black and white, giving you the best picture. Use component video to take advantage of the superior picture found in such signal sources as HDTV and progressive DVD.
S-Video - The video signal is split into two signals, giving you an even better quality picture. For example, text displayed on-screen using this connection is noticeably sharper than composite or coaxial (RF).

ah i see.. yeah component the best..... i tot the rca type
the RCA type is known as composite
OK...composite is way better than S-video.
I've another question though..
which is better? Component or DVI video cables? I plan on hooking up a HTPC to get a 1080i resolution instead of getting another DVD player. I just wannna know if i'm better of getting a DVD player and have it run on component or am i better off with DV connections. thanks.
this is the line --------- cross it. i dare you
DVI would be better
dvi and hdmi are the best(currently). gamay ra ang naay dvi na output/input na tv or player.
well i plan to use a HTPC for a player and the TV i'll be using is a Samsung 61" DLP.. that's why medyo crucial kaayo that i get the most out of the setup cos masayang lang nya..
thanks for the help guys
