i'm a fan. she's very experimental, combining elements of pop, rock, hip hop, folk, classical and latin-inflected music. i have her album called folklore in cassette and i bought her third CD called loose 2 months ago. i still can't get enough of her music. just wanted to check if anybody here likes her or any of her songs.

yup very experimental and knows her roots I was suprised to see some whirling dervish in one of her videos. and she blends different types of music and incorporates them and pops it up a little bit. Great music from a Canadian Portuguese
