mang kuryente man ako casing, unsa prob ani?

is it normal nga mang kuryente ang casing bisan naka off cya pero naka plug lang gyapon?

what seems to be causing this? and can anyone pls. tell me how to solve this problem. thanks.

way grounding imo pc. wala man gud ground kasagaran ang outlet sa pinas. aron ma minimize pag higot ug wire sa imo case padung ground.

unsa diay nga outlet ang naay ground? ako pc is plugged to a ups and ang ups is plugged to an outlet nga three 'prongs' (just correct me if the term im using is wrong).

about the wire to connect to pc: will any kind of wire do? basta maka conduct lang ug electricity nga type of wire.

and when you say nga padulung sa ground, ok ra bisan unsa nga surface basta sa ground? whether my ground be wood or marble or tiles or cemento?

sakto imo term nga prong. although naa 3-prongs imo outlet, chances are, wala nay ground wire sa sulod. dili man gud strict sa building code sa pinas. ideal solution would be to drive a metal bar on the ground and wind your wire there connected to your pc. or pwede imo i tap sa ground sa telephone or usually pwede ra i tap nimo sa metal part sa faucet. let me know kung ni work ba.

careful pud bro tingali nag tini-el ka hikap sa imong casing mo ground dyud ka. or try to put a ground sa imong casing para sigurado. pisag wire lang taud nimo sa screw sa luyo sa imong casing nya sa end lansang sa ground.

pwede sad nimo butangan ug masking tape ang screw nga nag-connect sa imo motherboard ug imo case bro, mao na usahay mo-ground kay connected ang case ug imo motherboard.

@insect111 & [DSX]: so is it advisable to put masking tape sa screws holding the motherboard? coz i've been doing it ever since.

yup true. butangi tape imo mobo then pagbutang sad ug wire ground para saimo casing. Sometimes ang hinungdan sa kuryente kay sa power supply nimo na naka attached saimo casing. Its better to have a good grounding or pag tsinelas nalang para dili ka makuryentehan. :mrgreen:

sa soyada ang balay wala gyud ground naka butang sa balay..pero sa mga probensya like sa amoa did2 sa mindanao tanan balay naa ground rod sa balay to prevent makakuryente sa appliances..imo buhaton if mo open ka e unplug nalang para safe..
