Red wine goes with meat while white wine is good for fish , while champagne and other sparkling wines is for dessert or after dinner drinks when cookies or cakes are served, champagne is also good for raw oysters... finally champagne is for celebrations. Prices of wines vary, pero mas mahal ang champagne, when you're in restaurant pricelist is written in menu, you can order wines by glass (in the philippines you can do it).

if you're on a budget, table red wine or california wine. there are also inexpensive sparkling white wine (alternative to champagne).
