Cheques from Abroad - Pros and Cons

I'm thinking about cashing out from a poker site by cheques. Kaso lang Im not too sure kung safe ni, I have the option of doing it by regular mail or by Fed Ex. Im more inclined to do it thru FedEx kay mas safe, but I need info about the process.

Ang cheque would be in Php na daan.
Can anyone post on what to do with a cheque sent from Europe?
Asa ni ipacash?
Any fees?
What documents to bring?

but my greatest concern is, unsay security risks ani? unsay pwede mahitabo kung naay mo intercept sa akong cheque?

I receive checks from the US on a weekly basis through fedex and no problem so far for the last 4 years. It a very good idea not to send it using regular mail, they are just a bunch of incompetent fools.

As far as cashing my checks, i opened a dollar account at Allied Bank and deposit the checks there. The fee is 105 pesos and the clearing time is 30 to 45 days. Im not sure if that is still the case on check from europe.

The check will be in Php, so can I just cash this in to any peso bank account that I have?
As for the fees, does it vary with the amount that your cashing in? or its fixed?

I think you can just deposit the check on any peso account. Allied bank fees on international checks if fixed.
