I'm starting this thread so that i can assess which dsl package works best within this area.

Post your ISP and rate its reliability from 1 - 10. 1 = worst, 10 = best.

Here's mine

Globelines DSL 384Kbps - 3

PLDT MyDSL - plan 999 1Mbps (my location is near shell a.s. fortuna)

Rating: 8.5 out of 10

@usrolla. have you experience any intermittent connection with pldt mydsl especially on rainy days? seems this problem is quite prevalent with globe users. specifically our area

so far bro ako experience kng mag ulan mas mo lapas nuon ko sa 1Mbps.. but normally average nko is 900kbps download and 440 kbps upload

Globe Broadband. I rate it 7 in a scale of 1 to 10 and 10 being the highest.

I'm glad to hear another globe user. have you also experienced loss of connection bro in the past 2 months? For some reason I've had 4 occasions last September where I had no dial tone in my land line and it would last around 2 days. The only time the connection would come back is if I report them directly at their offices instead of calling customer service.
