with electric money, if mawala imong purse, you can always call your bank/credit card company to report the loss so they can cancel it.
in addition, when buying something, it's a lot easier to simply slide the card than open up all components of your wallet to get the exact amount that you need to pay for your items. ALSO, when getting gasoline for your car, it's more convenient to just swipe the card on the machine rather than going inside the store, get in line (sometimes super long!) & tell the cashier that you need this much gas etc etc. basta, overall, cash is inconvenient. lol
