This coming October 4 marks the 45th year of existence for the Tau Gamma Phi. This is a worldwide celebration wherein the members of the Triskelions’ Grand Fraternity celebrate 45 years for supremacy and brotherhood.

The Tau Gamma Phi, founded on October 4, 1968 at the Arts and Science building of the University of the Philippines Diliman is the largest and most dynamic fraternity in the Philippines and probably around the world. Up to date, the fraternity is approximately more than one million members across the globe. They have been the fastest growing fraternity in terms of membership.

The Protest Fraternity

The Tau Gamma Phi is known to be a “Protest Fraternity.” It aims to break away from the traditional way of brotherhood flooded with violence, elitism, and discrimination. Instead, the fraternity encourages its members to strive for holistic growth–physically, mentally, psychologically, and spiritually, and inspires its members to do their role in their community.

Excel In Your Chosen Field of Interest and Endeavor

The Tau Gamma Phi originated in the University of The Philippines-Diliman. It was organized by by four young and brave scholars from the College of Arts and Sciences. They have lived their lives with excellence and distinction and its members have followed their legacy–to do things with excellence. The Triskelions’ Grand Fraternity has been producing scholars and graduates who are capable of being the future leaders in the society where they belong. The Triskelions, as the Tau Gamma Phi members call them, are trained and disciplined on how to be righteous, just and strong. With the leadership of the Grand Triskelion, every members of the fraternity becomes globally competitive and will surely can adapt in the fast changing environment. The fraternity has already produced lawyers, doctors, engineers, scientists, businessmen, artists, politicians, and other professionals.

The Universal Brotherhood

The Tau Gamma Phi is composed of members from different walks of life. It promotes camaraderie like no one else. It accepts members irregardless of social status.The Triskelions’ Grand Fraternity is a brotherhood that promotes equality among its members. Whether one is a balut vendor or a member of the country’s legislative body, they share equal rights and privileges as a member of the fraternity. It is the only fraternity that promotes this one of a kind fraternal system.

Triskelions Around the World

“Quocunque Jeceris Stabit”. Wherever you throw, it will stand. The saying signifies a great characteristic of every member of the Tau Gamma Phi. In almost every part of the world, there exists Triskelions’ Grand Fraternity. A member who can withstand every challenges that will come into him. With the fraternity’s training on leadership and values, every member is capable to be in any place in the world, standing proud, saying “I am a Triskelion.”

This October 4, the Tau Gamma Phi celebrates its 45 years of brotherhood. They are inviting everyone on this special day to share with the the joy and pride of being a Triskelion.
