• Relive the 1970s with Disco Inferno


      Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort & Spa, Cebu invites guests to relive the glitz and groove of the 1970s at its most vibrant party yet – Disco Inferno – at The Marquee on Saturday, 25 July 2015, at 9:00 p.m.


      Celebrity DJ Miss BadKiss will top bill Disco Inferno, a retro dance party inspired by the decade’s psychedelic hues and flashy fashion.

      Disco Inferno will take guests back in time to experience the kaleidoscopic magic of disco halls— through spacious dance floors surrounded by LED lights and disco balls, and spruced up with vinyl records and other 1970s icons. Welcoming guests outside The Marquee will be a car exhibition featuring vehicle models reminiscent of the decade, including the Volkswagen Kombi.

      Food and bar stations replicating the era and offering a spread of food items, liquor and cocktails, will be available. Guests can have their pick of neon-colored mixes to soughtafter drinks such as Bacardi, Grey Goose and Perrier-Jouët, among others.

      Highlighting Disco Inferno will be Miss BadKiss (Christina Bartges) who will bring in her mixes known for their distinct sound that is a fusion of hip-hop, RnB and funk. Hailed by Pulse Radio as one of the top six female DJs in the Philippines, she has performed in famed clubs and festivals across the country, including the Malasimbo Music & Arts Festival, an annual music festival that boasts an international line-up.

      Disco Inferno will also feature a performance by the resort’s resident DJ Bong Durano who will spin his best tracks, plus stunning moves by guest dancers. A raffle draw awaits guests, and the one who comes in the funkiest attire will receive a prize.

      Guests can put on their dancing shoes and get the groove on as Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort & Spa, Cebu hosts the party of the year, Disco Inferno. Tickets are priced at P1,500 nett per person and include free-flowing standard drinks, plus a 20 percent discount when they dine for dinner at either Tides, Acqua, Tea of Spring or Cowrie Cove on 25 July 2015.
