Love going to the beach but hate having to prepare all the good food that comes along with enjoying the beach...Fret no more, Boodle on the Boat is here to save the day.
Boodle what?
Urban Dictionary defines Boodle as a military style of eating where prepared food is placed on top of banana leaves and everyone digs in (eats with their hands) for their fill which then leads us to know what Boodle on the boat is. It is a boodle fight that happens while you are onboard a motorised outrigger boat.
Boodle on the boat lets you experience the wonders of the beach and the clear waters of the channel while enjoying sumptuous local food and the cool sea breeze. According to Therese Carmita "Timi" Maligon, Be Resorts Marketing Communications Assistant, there are two menus to choose from which are good for 4 to 6 persons: Big Beach and Sunny Seaside.
Big Beach is composed of Filipino favourites like milkfish (bangus), crispy pork knuckles (crispy pata), grilled chicken, beef, grilled eggplant, plain rice and nasi goreng. Sunny Seaside has grilled chicken and pork belly, shrimp, beef, grilled eggplant, rice and nasi goreng. The boodle winnow (Nigo/Bilao) package comes with complimentary drinks and two island visits, fish feeding and snorkelling at Hilutungan and snorkelling at Sulpa, Be Resorts Marketing Manager, Bing Torre adds. Fish food and snorkelling gears are provided for the snorkelling and fish feeding activity and entrance fees are also included in the package.
Boodle on the boat can be enjoyed by small to big groups, from 4 people up to 25 can avail of the tour. The boat leaves at 11am to set sail for the nearby islands of Hilutungan and Sulpa.
Boodle on the boat is perfect for family weekend outings. After the island visits the group can enjoy the hotel amenities, take a dip in any of the 3 pools of the hotel and take a shower before heading back to the hustle and bustle of the city.
Boodle on the Boat is a spin-off of Be Resort’s Boodle by the Beach, a dinner setup by the beach as the sun sets and the torches are lighted up which sets a romantic mood for the diners.
