This proudly homegrown brand has become a fixture in the coffee shop scene for around 17 years, becoming a must-visit place for anybody who is looking for a cozy environment wherein they can enjoy a great cup of coffee with their loved ones. With treats such as the White Chocolate Mocha Froccino or the yummy Mocha Praline cake, this Cebuano brand is the favorite of many locals and tourists who enjoy world-class delicacies in a local setting.

Bo's BTC has a new look

The opening of its new Banilad Town Center (BTC) branch marks another milestone for Bo’s Coffee because it reflects a modern and hip look that also pays homage to its Philippine roots. The new branch still contains its signature Kenneth Cobonpue lamps, but it delves into a more industrial design theme by combining elements of concrete and wood, with touches of Philippine patterns and textures.

Aside from unveiling its new look, Bo’s Coffee also has something distinctive to offer everyone. Honoring its Filipino roots, it will feature a product from the Gawad Kalinga Enchanted Farm (GK-EF) called Bayani Brew. With unique flavors such as Lemongrass and Pandan and Sweet Potato Purple Leaf Tops, GK-EF’s Filipino iced tea is something guests should definitely try out.

We are a homegrown brand, and we would like to use our stores to showcase world-class Filipino products and possibly merchandise that will benefit different communities,” Benitez said. “Bayani Brew is just one of the many products we plan on offering. We are also going to Theo & Philo artisan chocolates from the Philippines within the year.Theo & Philo’s clever way of infusing local flavors such as siling labuyo, barako coffee, and green mangoes into their chocolates is amazing, and we look forward to sharing it with our customers.”

Bo’s Coffee BTC will also offer the Philippine Origins Coffee product line. These 100% Arabica beans come from locations such as Sagada, Benguet, Matutum, Kitanglad, and Mt. Apo. What’s interesting about these single origin beans is that they give customers a chance to experience each Philippine location in a different way because the flavor profile for each kind depends on its geographical conditions.

Sagada, for example, has a sweet, nutty, and well-balanced taste, with hints of chocolate and fresh tobacco. Benguet, which is near Sagada, is also well balanced, with herbal notes. Mt. Matutum, which is located in Mindanao, features a berry-like and spicy taste, and Mt. Kitanglad, which is also in Mindanao, is perfect for coffee drinkers who are looking for something light and nutty, with a hint of floral undertones. The newest Philippine Origin coffee, Mt. Apo, bearsa sweet and earthy flavor.

For anyone who’s in the area, the new sandwiches and meals give plenty of mouthwatering reasons to stay. Some of the recommended dishes include the Pulled Pork Adobo Sandwich Melt, White Popeye and Cheese, and Bacon Pesto Pasta.

Given its numerous offerings and its comfortable and stylish layout, the remodeled branch is sure to become a hotspot for more and more people in the local coffee community.

I’d like to invite everyone to our BTC branch,” said Benitez. “This is just the start of a lot of great changes for Bo’s Coffee. We aren’t just serious about our commitment to providing the best of Philippine coffee to our customers, we are also determined to promote the best of Philippine culture.
