CebuDoc Group held a groundbreaking ceremony on July 7, 2024, to introduce its newest member, Balamban Doc Hospital. Nestled in the heart of Baliwagan, Balamban, Cebu City, this new establishment marked the unwavering commitment of the group to improve healthcare services across the region.
The groundbreaking ceremony marks the beginning of the construction of 6,945 square meters with 126 rooms, a five-story building for various departments, 4 VIP rooms, four presidential suites, a helipad, and a roof deck. This cutting-edge center focuses on patient care and efficient emergency services.

Dr. Potenciano S.D. Larrazaball III, CebuDoc Group President and Chairman of the Board expressed his commitment to continuing the legacy his father made, which is to provide healthcare outside Cebu City.
The 8th Balamban Doctors Hospital, the newest addition to CebuDoc Group's network, aims to improve the standard of healthcare in Visayas and shorten the distance people must travel to access healthcare.
Mayor Ace Stefan V. Binghay of Balamban graced the ceremony, expressing his gratitude to CebuDoc Group for their unwavering commitment to serving and supporting their residents' well-being.
“Access to quality healthcare is a fundamental right. And today, I thank you for bringing healthcare services and facilities closer to the people of Balamban and our neighboring localities,” Binghay said.
Additionally, he emphasized that the facility will provide state-of-the-art medical care and create numerous job opportunities to boost the economy and stand as a symbol of hope and recovery for all striving towards progress.
Right after the ceremony proceedings, a significant moment unfolded as the official unveiling of BalambanDoc Hospital took place, marking the formal introduction of the new healthcare facility to the community, warmly welcomed by attendees.
This new achievement expands the scope of CebuDoc Group, thus solidifying its position as a reliable healthcare partner for the residents of Balamban and beyond.
