A sizable group of participants on Sunday afternoon, June 22, welcomed the grand launch of The Wake at Mactan Island Memorial Garden. The launching of the newest building, The Wake, promises reverence and expands its facilities to serve the community better.
The Honorable Milagros Baguio Amores, a respected community leader of Marigondon, graced the event and expressed gratitude to MSY Holdings Corporation for their unwavering commitment to serving and understanding the community.
“As the mother of Marigondon, I am delighted that Mactan Island Memorial Garden established a new wake area. This tranquil space is meticulously designed to provide comfort and support in our area during moments of reflection and remembrance,” Amores said.

The Wake comprises two buildings: Wake 1 offers mid- to high-cost options ranging from P10,000 to P20,000, featuring spacious rooms and modern design. Rooms 1 and 2 are collapsible to optimize space and include a private bathroom for guest comfort.
On the other hand, Wake 2 provides a more affordable option with a shared comfort room priced at P5,000 per night.
