• Local Love, a feast for all the senses

Ayala Center Cebu to showcase Cebu's best gastronomic flavors and homegrown music in Local Love 2024

Cebu has had no shortage of beauty to explore, from its rich cultural heritage to its astonishing tourist spots, indulgent culinary offerings, and unique local talent.

Cebu's abundant natural beauty and vibrant city life have made it a dream destination for local and foreign tourists seeking adventure in nature, cultural immersion, urban exploration, and delicious Filipino food.

In line with this month's Independence Day, Ayala Center Cebu shines a light on local culture and talent by reintroducing Local Love. Ayala Center Cebu created Local Love in 2014 to give a home to Filipino artistry and homegrown Cebuano craftsmanship. In celebrating and recognizing the Cebuano artists and crafts makers, Local Love continually hopes to
encourage its attendees and Ayala Center Cebu patrons to love and support all things local, Filipino, and Cebuano.

This year, the event is not just a showcase; it's an immersive experience. Local Love 2024 is proud to offer a diverse lineup of events and activities from June 5 to 12 that will immerse you in Cebu's best, including food fairs, performances, and workshops.

Local Love is not just about food. It's a feast for all the senses. The island is a food haven where visitors can taste some of the best Filipino cuisines, including its famous lechon, dangit, chorizo, and regional delicacies like dried mango, otap, and masareal. Local Love commences its celebrations with Mangaon Ta, Bai!, where visitors can savor Cebu's favorites, from local cuisine to signature dishes, from June 5 to 12, during all mall hours, located at The Terraces. Another exciting event, in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry, Sugboanong Pasalubong, will bring home local flavors from the different towns of Cebu from June 5 to 12, during all mall hours, in Level 1, near TGI Friday's.

A showcase of local talents will also serenade mall goers in Duyog ug Bahandi, an event amplifying and celebrating the local music scene from June 5 to 12, every 6 PM, at The Terraces. Adding color to the event is Pusong Cebuano, a workshop where attendees can learn how to weave and wrap Cebu's famous puso or hanging rice on June 8, at 4 PM, at The
      Terraces.

Culminating the event is Proudly Bisaya, where visitors will be taken on a delicious journey through the heart and soul of Cebuano cuisine on June 12, 4 PM, at The Terraces.

Whether you are planning your first visit to Cebu or a local Cebuano looking to rediscover the province's beauty, Ayala Center Cebu's Local Love is a quick and convenient stop to explore some of the best that Cebu offers.
