With the creation of Domination League, the organizers aim to expand the gaming industry in Cebu. There is potential for the industry in Cebu. And with this, the city will be ready to host big international events.
Another objective of The Domination League is to legitimize the E-sports industry. The organizers want to show that that there is a future in pursuing an E-sports career. The event also aims to educate students and parents alike about playing e-sports.

The Domination League helps battle the stigma about e-games. There are many talented gamers in the Philippines that could shine on an international stage. Legitimizing the industry would allow more people to explore e-sports and learn from a professional environment.
The Domination League was held last November 17 at Island Central Mall in Lapu-Lapu. During the event, there was a Dota 2 and Mobile Legend Tournaments and a cosplay competition.
