Baste Duterte Campaigns for his Father

The CEBU FOR DUTERTE, the umbrella organization of all the volunteer groups campaigning for Duterte in Cebu organized a press conference today to signify the official launching of the movement with Duterte’s son, Baste.

Sebastian “Baste” Duterte is here in Cebu to campaign for his father Mayor Rodrigo “Rody or Digong” Duterte.


Last weekend, Mayor Duterte’s son, Baste, went to Hongkong with Robin Padilla to campaign for his father. Baste has also been to Bohol to visit the supporters of his father. Baste is amazed at the unexpected clamor and support of the people towards his father.

Sectoral representatives from the labor sector, doctors, LGBT community, BPO sector, and legal community were present to show their support for the movement.

Cebu has 2.6 million voters. We have to win big here for Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, according to Cebu for Duterte organisers.

The main activity for the Cebu leg will be the caravan on February 25.
