It wasn't as easy as I thought it would be...

...but I now seriously think that moderating the iStorya.net science forum is like being one of those barbecue sellers at New Larsian, who constantly and furiously (like a Michael Jackson gone mad) make "bugaw" to the "langaws" that just love to land on the yummy, glistening surface of all the meat that's being sold there. I say this, because no matter how much I remind and warn people of the grave consequences that would arise if they do not follow that subforum's rules, it seems as if the notices we've been giving fall on deaf ears (or blind eyes, in this case).
Observing this, it made me wish I had an equivalent to those devices they have over there at Larsian, that automatically "bugaws" the flies. It consists of a motor rotating at moderate speed while whipping around this bunch of plastic/cellophane on its axle, shooing all the flies in the immediate vicinity. But, unlike that "automatic langaw bugawer" thingy they have at Larsian, making "bugaw" to the various nutcases and d1ckheads that post irrelevant stuff in the Science section sadly needs human intervention--it cannot be made automatic, otherwise even probably those with good intent would fall prey to the whip of the automatic system, simply because they lacked the proper jargon or technical language to express whatever science-related post they wanted to share in that subforum.
Oh well, the important thing is, we get to inform those who want and DESERVE to be informed of updates and developments in the science community. I guess that's more than enough reward, even if one had to struggle to get rid of all the langaws in that section.
