I send my grade 1 daughter today in her school and the guard of the school stop me and advise me to drop my 5 year old daughter just around the corner of the guardhaus and so to speak to let her walk to her classroom around 120 meters from the drop off with her bag which is over 5 kilos. A walk to her classroom from the drop off includes; two(2) roads that intersects vehicles, canteen which all levels has access( college students, high school, elementary, parents, guardians, etc.), bench which all levels has access, and to tell you, this school is like a public school, it is how crowded it is, imagine yourself in a public market to make the description more specific and precise.
When we've got to the guard haus I readied my ID so that they would let me pass. The guard then told me to just drop my daughter and leave, I told them if it is okay to left my car and accompany my daughter to her classroom and they said no. That's where I burst into anger and ask them why, I told them that my daughter can't make it on her own, a 5 year old grade one student, walking around 120 meters, and all that vehicle intersections and crowded area. The guards just told me I better not use my car(I dont know if they were blind or something, I so dress up for work, so they're going to say to me eventually that I rather use public utility jeepney going to work or go home after I send my daughter for me to use my car...) that I better use public utility jeepney, because I don't have a car sticker. I told them that it was our second car, the car sticker where my daughter were registered has been used by my wife and it will be used to pick my daughter up after school and I told guards that we have find a way to process a second sticker, we negotiated my daughter's cousin to use his name for the second car sticker and we're glad that they grant us our request and we're going to process it on that very day. Even so, they are still adamant.
I told them with anger in my voice that why are they letting my daughter walk, their very purpose is security and safety, where is the safety of that idea?
The guards just told me that they are doing their job(really!?!) and they were so afraid they will be out of job(really!?! what kind of management doing this mind set?!). They said, "nag buhat rami sa among trabaho, kami man gud ang ma kulban ug kaldero". What I think about these were, live robots, controlled by a fear of lossing a job... Stripped choosing what is good decision and bad decision... The management is really sick, real sick!...
My daughter studied in Cebu Institute Of Technology - University and I am considering new school this 2nd semester or next year. I learned my lesson, I too a product of the said school and I am ashamed how the management drive/manage their employee specially the guards...

It was difficult for me to accept the fact that my children have grown up. I was really worried when my oldest son went to college. It was far from our city and I was not sure if he would be okay. All I could do was give him advice. I advised to use a special service if necessary - https://writemyassignment.com/ I know that many students have driven themselves to a nervous breakdown due to the large number of assignments. I was able to convince my son that it is not worth going down this path.
