hello all... I notice na..files being corrupted keep recurring...

when using my desktop pc,murag no prob. kay I have both anti- virus and USB security...

no virus issues when using my laptop, on the other hand
but these days after using workplace's PC kay ma corrupt kalit ang files..di na ma open and all I see are characters like box-shaped figures..wat must be wrong?

here's a not so technical solution: go to FOLDER OPTIONS. On the view tab CHECK "show hidden files and folders". UNCHECK "Hide protected operating system files". You will see your missing folders/files which were hidden by the virus. navigate through your these folders and just copy the files in them to a new location.

@acecrystal : sis, narecover na ang file nemo sa USB drive? I suggest better insert your USB flashdrive to any Linux distro nga naa kay kaila for a check. some contents may not visible to a windows machine which result from virus changes, but in linux etc. ubuntu, makita siya. Another solution is to use a 3rd party program to recover your files even it is formatted pa.
