is this happening for all the wifi hotspots you've tried it on? or is this happening to only one hotspot?

try resetting your network settings and see if that works, go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings.

already done that sir. yep its the same thing whether residential hotspots or commercial ones.

is that a temporary unlock or factory unlock?
kung factory unlock, dili na mawala on any updates..
